How to use GPA Calculator

- Use letter grades (A to F, with + or -) or percentages.
- Read your GPA and total credits.
About this tool
GPA is the sum of grade points times credits divided by total credits. Letters map to the common 4.0 scale (A = 4.0, A- = 3.7, B+ = 3.3, and so on). Percentages are converted with a standard table where 93 and above is 4.0 and below 60 is 0.
Schools use different scales, and some give extra weight to honors or AP courses, so check your institution's policy for official numbers.
