About this tool
Fuel used is distance multiplied by consumption. With L/100km, litres = km x consumption / 100. With MPG, gallons = miles / mpg. Multiply by the price per litre or gallon for the cost.
Real consumption depends on speed, load, traffic and weather, so add a margin for long trips.
