How to use Discount Calculator
- Enter the original price.
- Enter the discount percentage, and an extra discount if there is one.
- Read the final price and the amount saved.
About this tool
A percentage discount reduces the price by that share. Stacked discounts are applied one after another, so 20% off followed by 10% off is a 28% total discount, not 30%.
Use it to compare sales offers or to price your own promotions.
Frequently Asked Questions
- How do I calculate 25% off?
- Multiply the price by 0.75. For 80 that gives 60.
- Why are two discounts not added together?
- The second discount applies to the already reduced price, so the combined discount is smaller than the sum.
