How to use Color Picker
- Click the color box to open the picker, or type a HEX code.
- Read the HEX, RGB, HSL, HSV and CMYK values.
- Copy the one you need for your CSS or design tool.
About this tool
HEX and RGB describe the amount of red, green and blue light, HSL describes hue, saturation and lightness, which is easier to adjust by hand, and CMYK describes ink for print. The CMYK values here are a simple mathematical conversion, so a printer's color profile may give slightly different results.
The tool also finds the closest of the 147 named CSS colors, which is helpful for readable stylesheets.
